yeah i read that. still if all he really did was increase contrast levels, place a texture on it, and darken it, i wouldnt really call that doing much to alter the pic. i mean it still looks cool yeah but... idk i just see stuff like that and think can you really call the art yours if 99% of the result had absolutely nothing to do with you.

You can believe that if you wish. I won't tell you what to believe, but I know I couldn't recreate that image. Art is art, given that he properly sighted the original work he's stating that its not his, and that he isn't taking the credit.
